40 Day to Die No response from Big Tree Tech

I had a love-hate relationship with this board. I liked the features. It was quiet. I enabled features in Marlin to get better typing results and it died. At that time I had a major failure of Tree Tech DCVC 1.0 and smoke on the board with no apparent consequences. But after 31 days my USB started to become unresponsive constantly. After 40 days it stopped working and in the afternoon the board boots up, my bltouch tests itself and lights up fine. But there is no USB and TTF control over the RS232 cable. ttf turns on via ribbon cable but there is no connection. I contacted Big Tree Tech with no response.
