This carpet runner is exactly what I needed. My front door sits very close to my wood floors, maybe 3/8" between the weatherstrip and the floor. So any carpet or door mat I put in front of it has to be fairly thin and lay flat. This carpet runner is a perfect fit. Just thick enough to be a quality carpet but also lays flat enough that the door can open over it.I really like how the distressed pattern looks against my wood floors.My only complaint is that I wish the backing were a bit more grippy so it wouldn't slide as easy as it does. But that's mostly nitpicking as I can remedy that easily enough with grip tape designed for exactly this.It does have fold marks from how it is packaged, but those are going away more each day and are barely noticeable at this point.
