I have been using the Streamlabs water monitor for 6 months now. This is a useful product and it works well. It accurately displays the flow rate we have programmed. I recommend it to anyone interested in water usage patterns, flow alerts, large and small leaks. I also recommend a water leak detector to confirm a water leak in a basement or elsewhere, especially for homeowners monitoring remotely. great additional benefit of this device. Good Customer Service - I had some problems with the device not making good contact, that was my mistake during installation. Streamlabs kindly provided a set of replacement pads. I also couldn't get it to work reliably with the Google Nest network and the Alexa Echo network. The device kept reverting to AWAY mode and we started getting notifications whenever a tap was on for more than 10 seconds. I disabled both networks and haven't had any problems since. Probably a problem with Google. They release beta versions all the time. Update February 2019: Still works great. It has proven to be a useful and reliable device. I had no problems with its operation. It alerted me to a leaking toilet valve in a rarely used basement bathroom. I also learned from the hourly usage report that my visiting relatives like to take very long showers. Update July 2019: Since my last update to this test report, the device has continued to work reliably. I recently bought an automatic watering device and installed it just before my vacation to water my vegetable garden on hot summer days. I have been assured that I will receive notifications from StreamLabs when the valve cycles on and off. November 2020: Still working great.
