I bought this pump for airsoft/paintball cylinders. I use a 48 cu in 3000 psi tank and it connects directly, no other hoses are needed which is a huge plus. It takes about 1000 pumps to fill the tank which will give me about 2000-3000 shots from my airsoft gun. I'm happy with the quality and price of the compressor which costs me around $3500 or $700 for a shoebox compressor but takes around 4-6 hours to fill the tank. The reason for deducting 1 star is the physical strength required after that you come through about 2000psi reach 6ft 170lbs and the job will be unloading trucks with a dolly at about 100-250lbs per load, and this pump is a harder workout than my job. Luckily you can fill the tank in small portions, you don't have to fill it all at once, but when you detach the hose, be sure to bleed it beforehand with the bleed screw so as not to damage the pump and next time connect it to get more Adding air (in a situation where you haven't used it you just want to add more), it takes about 3 pumps to build pressure and you add air again. I personally will continue to use this product. very handy since yes I can take it to the game and no electricity is needed, but I'll probably only fill my tank to about 2000psi because the extra time to get those last 1000psi inches won't cost me YET (I will slowly build up my power and increase it by about 50psi per month.) Please note that the cylinder will start to heat up/warm up, I pump about 100 at a time and then take a 10 minute break to avoid damaging the seals .
