Useful for multi-month use

The pump is portable so you can travel without scuba tanks and refill tanks at dive shops. There is nothing wrong with the pump. It's hard what "quality" means. A person lighter than 140 (my guess) will have trouble pumping up to 3000psi as it takes a lot of downward force to force air into the reservoir. I gave 4 stars because after a few months of sporadic use (mostly weekends) the pump stopped working. In fact, once the pressure reached 1,000 psi, climbing became extremely difficult, if not…

Pros
  • Universal adapter for attaching Crosman and Benjamin airguns
Cons
  • Functionality

A good alternative to buying a compressor or visiting a dive shop.

Not sure if this is a good choice for someone who wants to shoot a lot and very often. I use my gun to fight vermin, so a few shots every few days at most. So there's nothing wrong with going full-on every few weeks. I can take my time and soon the gun will be fully loaded. It never gets too hot which I've read will melt the o-rings and stop the pump from working. I think a low body weight person will have some problems when they come to high blood pressure. I weigh over 200 pounds and it takes

Pros
  • Some assembly required
Cons
  • Not all will fit

HIGH PRESSURE PUMP WORKS WELL

Hello, I bought this pump instead of an electric compressor to inflate my PCP and paintball high pressure air tanks. I will tell you that I am a little disappointed. I waited over 3 weeks to receive this one and when I did it was broken. the thermometer is broken. Well I just bought a new paintball gun and definitely had to test it out. I used this to pump my 68 cubic inch reservoir rated at 4500psi to 300psi. It took me over an hour to do this between waiting for the pump shaft to cool down…

Pros
  • COMPATIBLE WITH MOST AIR PROPELLER, AIR RIFLE AND AIR BOW BENJAMIN PCP
Cons
  • High price

3.5 stars if found

I've only had this pump about 2 weeks so can't comment on long term reliability, I'll edit this review, if I change my mind. A NOTICE. If you only want to inflate air pistols up to 2000psi (like Benjamin Maximus) then buy one. 2000 psi is easy to achieve even if you're not that heavy. If you are trying to hit 3000psi and are light weight (>145lbs) then this pump is not for you. I would say 140 pounds is borderline for 3000 pounds per square inch. I use this pump on my Benjamin Marauder…

will give you a heck of a lot of work

I bought this pump for airsoft/paintball cylinders. I use a 48 cu in 3000 psi tank and it connects directly, no other hoses are needed which is a huge plus. It takes about 1000 pumps to fill the tank which will give me about 2000-3000 shots from my airsoft gun. I'm happy with the quality and price of the compressor which costs me around $3500 or $700 for a shoebox compressor but takes around 4-6 hours to fill the tank. The reason for deducting 1 star is the physical strength required after that

Pros
  • 3 stage pump for preloaded airsoft (PCP) airguns
Cons
  • I will add later

I replaced the Chinese pump with this one.

Ordered a hand pump made in China to save a few bucks. Let me tell you, it wasn't worth the trouble. Billionair's Chinese product may have come with two repair kits (consisting of O-ring kits) and a bottle of lube (which was punctured and leaking all over the shipment) but it had no instructions and didn't work right out of the box. I try to return it but the company doesn't even reply to emails. I bought this pump from Benjamin as a replacement and was pleasantly surprised that it not only…

  • UNIVERSAL ADAPTER - Foster quick connect to pump hose end
Cons
  • Minor

Don't waste money.

The pump works great but it's overpriced for what you get. It's not that, it's just a cheap Chinese pump with Benjamin's name on it. This thing works well, except for an awfully short and stiff hose that literally ties you to the front of the gun to the point where any pump misalignment twitches. through the hose to the gun. I have an extension hose for it and it helps a lot, but now I have a lot of volume just in the hoses that need a good pumping to fill them up before they even get to the…

Pros
  • DESIGNED FOR FILLING PNEUMATIC CONTROLS WITH PCP ENGINE
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

The Benjamin Pump is perfect for the Benjamin Airbow!

Bought a Benjamin pump to match the Benjamin Airbow and it worked perfectly! Forget all those nonsensical reviews you read, here is the real truth about the Benjamin Pump! First, pumping my airbow from 1000psi to 3000psi NEVER got hot. Even after 25 pumps, the entire block felt cool, so to get this thing "hot" you just had to "pump and sweat" non-stop! Another fact worth mentioning for those who don't have PCP yet. pistols. It's the FIRST thousand pounds per square inch that tires you out! My…

  • Sturdy handles, footrest for stability and gauge
