Review on 🌿 Sweethome Meadowland Collection 2'7" X 8'0" Green Artificial Grass Runner Rug - Indoor/Outdoor Turf & Pet Mat with Rubber Backing by Glenna Naber

I had it for about 3 weeks during the rainy season in sunny Florida. Photos taken on day 1. Note: I tried cardboard underneath to kill the vegetation and enrich the gritty mud, but I've since removed the cardboard because it just makes the fast paws clatter very loudly and slippery. Laid directly on the dirt, it works great. Pros • It makes an excellent outside entrance around the back dog door which is the main reason I got it. • With five 3x9's I got a good dog running through the mud where the kid chasing the ball wiped away the expensive turf. • Easily clogged with landscape stakes without popping out. The hurricane season (which officially begins today but has been raging since early May) is already bringing high winds without a hitch. • Doesn't burn feet and is much milder/better than St. Augustine Torture Herb (I'm from the Midwest). where real grass is beautiful). • As it drains, it also holds water on uneven turf in some spots, but that's the only place it's soft for hours - no puddles. (Note: I live in a Zone X flood plain, so if it works here, it will work anywhere.) • Rolling waves go away a day or two after laying. • As it is polypropylene there is no sign of it still fading and the tropical sun is in the southwest all day apart from an hour of rain per day. • No signs of wear and tear after 3 weeks of Speedy Gonzalez chasing the ball. Cons • One of the 5 came with a lighter color mix but looks ok overall. (farthest from the camera) • The other came with the tread going in opposite directions from the center, but after a while it's unnoticeable. (closest to camera) Make sure the tread faces the road or where it will be most seen. The lighter green in the photos is where the guard is facing away from the camera. Rolls are not uniform in packaging, so each roll must be checked for tread direction as it unwinds. Note. So far there is no problem with the smell of urine, but it is raining. /Storms once a day at this time of year. In the drier months, it can be a different story if I extend coverage to areas where the dog does its business. This is a great test drive as I'm considering redesigning the landscape with artificial grass throughout.
