They are great for controlling my cats' hunting instincts and keeping birds alive. My cat would hunt as soon as it was warm enough to go outside. He caught birds right and left, so he ordered them right away. Since then, not a single bird has died. It's also nice to know where my cat is because a little ring will alert me when she's in the house so I don't have to look for her. Also my brother took a 6 week old kitten that runs and sometimes walks underfoot. I just put a bell on it as it's so tiny so we know where it is.
