Very fun set. It is well made and precise with laser cutting. I painted a few parts so it took a little longer but I like the end result. I found the illustrated instructions quite good. It took me a few pages to realize that the "T" pieces are just tools to help find the axle spacers. Some of the steps require careful attention to the orientation of the part, but otherwise are fairly simple. When I applied the stain and let it dry in the hot sun, it deformed some parts that I had to use heat and flat wood to straighten. So if you color, just let it dry at room temperature and you'll be fine. Due to warping I had to adjust some of the spacers during final assembly but it worked out in the end. I also had to put some grease on the axles and main pendulum gear to smooth out the movement.
