My first binocular microscope. This is an amazing deal for the price. My first topic; Cockroach. Wow. Next is my alcohol dipped bow tie. just wow. There is an internal thread at the base where I attached a bolt that connects to a micro-sized articulated arm that holds a powerful LED flashlight for 4x visibility. As shown in the photo, the hand can hold the platform for a small object. [A dead housefly won't lay on its feet!] I'll make a similar hole in a spot that won't interfere with the handles. Attention manufacturers. Solid five for the value of the merchandise. I'll be giving it to my grandkids soon and getting a higher quality zoom model with a trinocular camera mount.
