I've waited ONE YEAR to write this review as it's easy to be impressed on the first day after hanging your first curtain. These blinds are very attractive and easy to install. They are well made and appear to be durable. So far they've done a great job of getting them up and down the last year I've had them. THE ONLY NEGATIVE POINT (WHICH IS A HUGE IMHO) IS A STRONG CHEMICAL ODOR THAT HAD NOT GONE SINCE DAY FIRST. I often get headaches and have no idea what chemicals are used in China to make these blinds. I doubt these same chemicals would be legal in California. On some days, when the sun is shining brightly and it's getting warmer, the smell gets even stronger. I think the temperature variable affects the amount of gas/smoke emitted as the smell gets just as bad as it gets colder. Even though I ordered seven and spent close to $1,000 for a total order, I was tempted to accept the loss and just throw them away or sell them, but I'm genuinely shocked that they still smell so bad. I have no idea how this could affect my health. By the way, I ordered custom COLOR blinds, NOT plain WHITE ones, so it's possible the chemicals or smell are affecting them.
