Review on πŸ”₯ Fine-tuned Canfield 60/40 Solder: Perfect Fusion for Stained Glass Applications by Marfel Fekete

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best there is! Best for stained glass

There is no better solder than this! If you're just starting out with stained glass, buy it! Literally almost every artist I know uses it and swears by it! It's tricky as a new artist loses $25 for everything to be replaced a lot lol but I'm just over half roll and have done 3 large, 10 medium and a few small suncatchers so far! Again, I'm a beginner so I also spent quite a bit of time practicing quitting, abusing, filling in the blanks, etc. If you're trying to save $$$$ like me, you have every chance. Such an expensive hobby. I would say save on everything and everything but this! go away baby Even if you are a beginner, this 60/40 is not for jewelry. You need lead for that. Most SG artists are aware of this, but I didn't know it before I started. I actually made the mistake of buying the wrong thickness of solder in the beginning, had already tried it so couldn't return it. I lost a few dollars that way. So I feel like there's no bad advice to be had while browsing.
