Plug and play application. Worked great in my 2007 Dodge Ram. As a side note, I've found that if the lights on the buttons don't light up, then the connection on the back is poor (when the button is on). If you connect the cable termination unit, check the windows and locks before installing them in the door cover. Otherwise, you'll have to remove the door cover or toggle to return to the cable ports. This way you can damage the switch cover if you are not very careful. I should have bought this item beforehand. Eliminates the annoying question of whether your windows will roll down; or worse, backup.
