I bought this dongle so I can easily transfer my keyboard and mouse between my MacBook Pro and Mac Mini just by sliding the dongle. Both computers still have working Bluetooth. So to make the dongle take precedence over the Mac's internal Bluetooth antenna, you need to run "sudo nvram bluetoothHostControllerSwitchBehavior=always" from a terminal and then restart your Mac. This button works great with my keyboard and mouse. . However, when I connect my Airpod Pros to it, they often drop the connection, and even if they manage to stay connected, the audio is fragmented and Bluetooth keyboard/mouse performance is reduced to a minimum until the music and the Airpod stop playing pros are off. I'm giving this device 3 stars because I don't know why it doesn't work with the Airpod Pro when it's a regular Bluetooth device. I saw another reviewer say they had issues with both the Airpod Pro and another model of wireless earbuds.
