Review on πŸ”© Genuine Beam Rugmaster Plus Belt: Superior Quality and Long-lasting Performance by Jennifer Garrard

Spent $5 to save me $150

This is what most vacuums overlook. I have a central vacuum with a Beam Rugmaster BM1372A which I noticed the brush would not rotate on thick carpet, although when lifted it rotated easily and I could still hear the suction power so I knew the unit itself wasn't broken was. I was looking for new carpet cleaning attachments for my central vacuum. Hello, I could also buy a new vacuum cleaner. ek! I stumbled across this post and read some reviews and figured why not just try to fix it for $5 and if that doesn't work I'll buy a new unit for $150. I like doing small repairs myself and sometimes worry when it comes to mechanical things that I might damage them more than what has already been done, but I did it myself within 10 minutes (just because it was the first one time was and I thought it was over). There were five screws that had to be removed to remove the bottom cover and one screw that had to be loosened to remove the round brush. I slid the strap back where the other one used to be, put the brush back in, tightened it and then the cap and screws and tried it out. It was all that was needed. I read a post that says you need to change them every six months. I'm pretty sure I'm not going crazy, but I'll keep that in mind when doing routine maintenance on my vacuum in the future. I hope I was able to help answer all the questions there. If this was helpful, click the "YES" button below. I would like to know what you think! Have fun shopping!
