Review on ๐ŸŒ Globe Men's Winslow Skate Shoe: Experience Superior Comfort and Durability by Eric Broad

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good as casual shoes. Terrible, like skate shoes.

Globe Winslow is a comfortable shoe although cheaply made in my opinion. It resembles the structure of slippers more than shoes. Easy to put on and take off. They are very snug fitting and seem to take the shape of the foot very well. But that's where the positives end. There is very little shape or structure other than the heel cup. The rubber surrounding the base of the shoe began to tear almost immediately after wearing on the sides of the toes where the foot flexes. I bought them as everyday shoes but recently started skating again as an adult. The attached picture was after an hour of skating. One hour. I can't imagine these shoes lasting more than a week or two of hard riding. As I understand it, it is not a suede model, but a fabric / textile model. I never expected the fabric to last as long as suede but oh well. I'll collect them to prevent further damage, which you don't have to do on day one. As a casual shoe I would give them a 3 or 4. As a skateboard shoe, the overall score is 1.3.

Pros
  • Minimal padding on tongue and collar for a secure fit
Cons
  • I'll add later
