This item took a long time to ship through Revain and I am sorry that it is out of stock as I would not order again. This is a very heavy mandrel and would have been great for what I ordered it for as it was intended for ring shaping. But it involves turning furrows from a lathe. You can hardly take the ring off once you've finished shaping it, and the inside of the ring is marked with these stripes that need to be sanded and polished. I'll get another one from somewhere else because I can't use it for anything. I wouldn't put a buyer ring on him for fear he might get stuck with him. I noticed when my order was being processed that Revain had marked this as out of stock so I must have gotten the last one in the box so the next person might not get one. That's why machinists have a bad reputation, but that's not their fault, because they're mass-produced on CNC lathes and not checked by quality control. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, not even for a lawn arrow.
