If that's what you're looking for then it's great

Perfect for my application: 1/4-20 thread for a device that needs to be mounted on a tripod. The flat sides make assembly easier so the part doesn't rotate. It's reasonably well made - not a masterpiece of craftsmanship or cheap junk. If you need this part, you already know it and are glad you finally found it. If you don't know why you need it, then you don't need it.
