Wear these to keep your hands from drying out in hot dishwater and keeping them from contact with detergents! I will not wash dishes without wearing them. I also wear them when I clean the bathroom. They are very comfortable. The only thing I don't like is that they seem to tear after about a month of regular dishwashing. I don't have a dishwasher and hand wash them, so maybe they aren't designed to last longer with repeated use.
