A little over two years after purchasing this scale, I am writing a review. It's a good scale because of the detachable bowl that comes with it, but mine is already broken. I use the scale a lot, mainly for baking bread. It's been in and out of my closet all the time and it just didn't hold up even though I kept the cardboard divider and put the scale in the bowl just like the box every time I used it. Despite good batteries, the screen just stopped working. My husband does electronics for a living and said it couldn't be fixed. Also, I've never used the temperature or timer functions, so I don't know why they're there. For heavy use, I recommend spending the money on a more durable device. It should take longer.
