1990 acura integra good for switches and relays

My integra was having trouble starting so I replaced the main relay under the dash. It connected well but when I finally started the car it died a second later. I couldn't understand. I disconnected that block and reconnected the old block and the car stayed. Not sure why it dies when I use this one, but luckily my old block was still fine. I can't say why because I honestly don't know.
