These straws swing. I've been using them in the same condition for a year. I have used stainless steel straws for many years and prefer curved straws to straight ones. I use them in my kids' Take 'n' Toss cups - their diameter is probably the same as a standard plastic straw, which is handy. They also reach for the larger Playtex cup, which I use with Boon's universal silicone lids (I recommend this product too - even if they crack, they're still functional). So glad they come with a straw brush too. Great quality, no trouble keeping clean, safe for my kids, versatile! Buy another set!
