Most DVD-Video makers know that Maxell DVD-R discs are far more reliable (and compatible) with a wide variety of DVD players, old and new. I thought Maxell had stopped making DVD media but was glad to find them on amazon.com. They are printable and hold ink very well when printed on the Primera Bravo II disk printer. I can't remember ever having a "failed" Maxell DVD-R. This is of course archived DVD media (I recommend MAM-A for this) but I bet it will work in 90% of DVD players. What can't be said about many others.
