I purchased these to replace some lights I had previously bought that did not end up matching what was pictured (stripes of pink, blue, green and clear, not a rainbow), and these are exactly what I was hoping for. I think someone else mentioned using yellow sharpie to alter the clear lights and I think I will try that as well, but overall very pleased. The USB is plenty long enough to reach the floor from the ceiling. There is a bit of a weird flicker on some of the colors on the very brightest setting on steady mode, but you can just lower it by one level and the flicker goes away. I do recommend not unwinding the strings until you have all the hooks in place so you don't end up getting the different strings tangled in each other. I bought 2 sets for context to span the length of my bedroom over a blackout curtain (bedroom is a 2nd floor loft with only 3 walls so this is my faux 4th wall).
