I have to admit I was skeptical when I first received this product. Just dip the tube in the water and shake until water comes out? I don't need to squeeze the ball or worse? Yes of course. Then it worked! This is a great size for my small aquarium. It doesn't scare the fish and sucks up all the slime without harming the fish. Every now and then a small one may swim up, but I just pull the hose out and let the fish and water flow back into the tank. The fish is a bit confused but unharmed. Great product at a great price. I highly recommend!
