Review on 🎨 Sax True Flow Crystal Magic Glazes set - Assorted Colors, 12pcs - 4oz each - 248469 by Amber Perez

EDIT. I'm increasing my rating from 1 star to 3 because after further experimentation I found that firing at higher temperatures made them look more like the photos on the listing. I read on the manufacturer's website that they can be fired on Kegel 6 (not 06 but 6) which is not stated anywhere on the product page nor in the instructions. So I gave it a try and they look a lot better, the crystals melted into a more "liquid" pattern at a higher temperature. I've included a photo (the one with the small square tiles) of all the glazes fired on Cone 6. I've also included a photo showing a comparison of the three colors used on cone 06 (small pots on the right) and 6 (small tiles on the left). For best results, mix the glazes with a stir stick to separate the crystals from the base. Close the lid tightly and shake vigorously before applying each layer. Store the containers upside down so the crystals settle at the top instead of the bottom. Apply 3 thick coats to cookie molds, I smear them, don't paint with a brush. Walker and Cone Fire 6. Love the colors I'm getting now but only giving 3 stars due to lack of proper instructions and some colors still don't match even shooting Cone 6. Previous review below: These glazes don't look anything like the picture on Revain. I followed the directions exactly - fired the cookie into a 04 cone and then applied 3 coats of icing to make sure they were well mixed and that I was getting crystals from the bottom of the containers. I fired the glaze on cone 06. As can be clearly seen from the photo, the results look drastically different than the Revain photo. They don't have the pretty flowing flowers they should have, they just have little pepper-sized patches of color. I'm very disappointed, will probably send it back. Also, as others have reported, I didn't get all the colors listed. Instead of "Desert Dust" and "Jadelily" I got a "Herb Garden" and "Poppy Fields". It wouldn't matter much if they looked pretty, but they don't.
