Buying shoes for a chef is difficult! At the extremely low price of these shoes I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and had high hopes that they would last another 6 months. He complained that the side of his ankle was irritating his skin, but he tolerated it and it didn't break the deal. What made these shoes a complete flop for us is that after wearing them 6 nights a week for 1 month he came home with that unmistakable smell of stinky smelly feet. This has never happened to me with any other shoe. I think these don't let the legs breathe. For the past two nights we have had to do tea tree oil foot baths and rub our feet to get rid of the smell. I promise this is not a personal issue! He worked as a chef for years and that never happened. Other reviews have mentioned the same thing so I believe these are the shoes. Well, you get what you pay for, right? So I still give 3 stars because otherwise they did their job, at least for a month. Otherwise they didn't fall apart or anything like that.
