The price of this product exceeded my expectations. Sound quality is good and can be improved by simply connecting external speakers. I was also expecting a much lower resolution considering this is a 1080p (compatible) device and not true 1080p, and I was expecting a color cap. From the nominal viewing distance, the image is clear with no discernible scanning lines (see video). Color was excellent (see side-by-side photo of projected image on screen, my portable source and 4K 90-inch TV). A darkened room is required for the best reproduction of an image projected onto a reflective surface. My grandkids have requested a projector for their bedrooms! Costs money.
