Review on 💡 BINZET DC Converter Step Down Regulator: 5V 3A Power Supply Transformer by Lamont Manjrekar

I hooked this up to my house's 12v power supply to try as soon as I got it and it looked like it would work. The input was 12.37V and the output was 4.98V with no output load. But as soon as I hooked this up to my circuit and tried to test it with my load, it ran for about a minute and then shut off. The only good thing is that no matter what protection circuitry is in place, at least my raspberry pi didn't burn out. Some time ago I was contacted by a BINZET representative who offered to either replace the product with a new one or give my money back. I chose the return option as I have already received a different regulator for the project I was working on. I have to say that I may have had a bad experience with the product initially, but the company seems to care about their customers and they really wanted to make things right with me. I value good customer service, so I'm increasing my rating from the original 1 star to 3 stars.
