light years before my previous clipper experience. I have been a beginner hairdresser (haircut for family members) for over 20 years. While I'm not a pro, I had a Wahl "professional" hair clipper that I spent about $70 on, as well as a few others that I bought at my local Walmart store. My previous clipper wasn't nearly as smooth and I have a feeling it will last long unlike my previous clipper which lasted 6 months to a year with monthly use at my son and husband's. My boys no longer complain about their haircuts. Less traction and because of their good function, it takes less time to get the job done.
