Worth the extra cost

Expensive YES but given that it could last 2-4 times longer than the cost it's justified. The fact that you can only buy a cutter head if it goes bad isn't all a plus. (They can also be sharpened) Heads are expensive too but we recommend buying them instead of plastic height guides (as they aren't needed and are cheap) Also buy a head cover to keep them safe We went 4-5 of the cheaper ones in the last ten years and mainly because the head fails and always needs readjusting, it doesn't because…

I can say they are durable and great quality and probably a great clipper for real haircuts. It just takes too long to go bald, and like I said, it always feels like a bit of a chore. She doesn't cut my hair like butter like Wahl…

While I'm not a pro, I had a Wahl "professional" hair clipper that I spent about $70 on, as well as a few others that I bought at my local Walmart store. My previous clipper wasn't nearly as smooth and I have a feeling it will last long unlike my previous clipper which lasted 6 months to a year with monthly use at my son and husband's. My boys no longer complain…
