I bought these filters because I have 2 Honda Civics that use synthetic oil. I didn't know you had to use a special synthetic oil filter (and I really don't think you do). So when I read that I should use a synthetic oil filter, I bought 2 (one for each car). My son installed it. I ordered 2 more when his Civic needed another oil change. That's when we encountered a problem. The cap we replaced the filter with for years didn't fit. We tried to get a different cap but were told that this filter is no longer made. Needless to say, my son was very upset. During the second trip to the store, he bought a "Claw". Very dirty. From now on I will just go back to my old filters.
