Review on Ulalov Gooseneck Kettle - Precise Temperature Control For Perfect Pour-Over Coffee And Tea In Seconds by Joseph Hamilton

3 days into using the kettle it randomly decides to overshoot the temp by 5 to 10 degrees and then not allow me to set a new temp until I unplug it and plug it back in. I was concerned from the beginning because this looks used or refurbed. The two buttons look pressed in oddly and don't fit right. When I took the protective cover off the control knob the plastic was very scuffed and scratched up. Clearly it was not brand new.The kettle is fine. I'm sure its no less nice than the others at this price point. The balance is fine and there is no plastic touching the water.I have ordered a replacement for the kettle and hopefully this one was just an anomaly. If not it will be returned and another brand ordered. I will update after I get the replacement.
