This is a great alternative to the more expensive Apple Pencil, especially for those with newer iPad 11 or 12.9 Pro devices. Usually these new iPads require a 2nd generation pencil which is twice the price of this one. The Crayon works basically the same as a real Apple Pencil, with the same low latency and wrist detection. As someone who has used the Apple Pencil over the past few years, it has felt very similar, if not identical, to the original in terms of functionality. This uses Apple's stylus hardware, which is better than many capacitive styluses. Crayon reflects Apple Pencil's ability to draw a slanted/oblique line in applications that support it, but Crayon does not support Apple's pressure recognition. The lack of pressure sensitivity means it's not the best choice for artists, but it should work well for notepads and kids. I also like that it can be switched off to save a battery. Overall, this is a great alternative to Apple's signature stylus.
