My dog approaches me in the bed and digs her talons into my left arm. She begins attempting to drag me to the door. I rise. despite my dog having, yet again, failed to bring me coffee in bed. She prances and I stumble to the back door. I ring the bell while repetitively saying "potty?" I open the door and she sprints to the grass. I am left squinting at the door.still trying to get my mind wrapped around the fact that I am awake now. She returns happy and ready to move forward with the rest of her day. She doesn't care about the bell.My boyfriends hates this bell.And he hates a part of me for buying it.*update: She has realized that the bell means the door opens. She rings the bell a lot. It works.Oh, it works!Additional update: Anytime she needs to use the bathroom, she rings the bell. It is amazing! I keep one at the front door and one at the bedroom door so that she can get my attention from anywhere. Downside? Sometimes she rings the bell just for attention. A musical "look at me."
