These seem like the perfect window candle for the Holidays. They operate on a remote timer, which seems to be very reliable. Turn them on once, set the timer (with the touch of a button) once, and they will come on and go off on their own until you operate the remote again. They are a little wide at the bottom for my casement window frames, requiring me to remove the screens to give them more room to balance. They were a little expensive, but I hope they last for years.
- The LED bulbs last longer than traditional candles, so you won't have to replace them as often
