I have been crocheting and sewing for many years and I travel a lot. I keep this set in my car in case I need to sew or crochet. Before you scoff, understand that there is such a thing as crochet. This is when you stay in one place for hours with nothing to do. No book to read and wait is your only option. For such purposes I have a camping bag with extra twine and this kit in the car. yes i used them Hooks are light and of good quality. These aren't my usual hooks, but they work in a pinch!
