If you are a beginner and want an easy and inexpensive yarn pack, get something better than this. As mentioned in other reviews they are very, very small. I figured that as a beginner I wouldn't need much more, but you definitely will if you don't plan on doing any real projects right away (however, it will do for a few small things like granny squares or laundry). but they are also twisted a bit loosely so they are a bit "fuzzy" and can be annoying to work with. and as a newbie i know you usually want something small and cheap but it really helps, having good and functional tools to start with so that you can understand what you are learning and notice what you are doing right and wrong, knowing it is not because of poor quality tools. Overall it's ok, not terrible but not great either. *but they are very soft :)
