Review on πŸ”Œ 33ft 100 LED Waterproof Copper Wire String Lights - Indoor/Outdoor Fairy Lights for Bedroom, Patio, Garden, Party, Wedding, Christmas, More by Tracy Erickson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

i love these lights I just wish there was some way to connect multiple (besides lots of extension cords).

Beautiful interior lamps. What are good and not so good these lamps. First, they are great. Really good is putting it mildly. I wrapped 4 of these around the 3 outside large brick pillars on my porch (see picture). These are the sun poles on my porch (they require no maintenance and are absolutely beautiful in person). This gave me the idea to do the project in my house, but of course without the use of solar panels. So I bought 3 120v indoor stems and made these two flower pot boxes for our entryway a year ago. I love them, everyone comments on them, but the garlands I had on them are soft white Christmassy garlands and I bought them with brown wire to match the branches. They look amazing and believe me it wasn't as easy as I thought putting them on. But as you can see in my drawings with red arrows you can see the connectors and wires in the branches. It doesn't bother anyone but me. After slightly wrapping the solar panels for my porch, I thought it would be great to replace the "fibrous" ones with these little sheets of wire. I bought 3 to replace the fiber bulbs with plugs. So I started my project. This wire is very easy to work with. First I wanted to make sure I had the right amount, I ordered three 100 soft light. Thought this would cover up the 6 x 50 Christmas lights which I removed. Boy was I wrong. They think that 300 lamps = 300 lamps. Not correct. As you can see in the picture. To date I have only laid one chain of these starlights, that is 100 and you can see that it only takes up a third. So I need 3 more (or three for each box) I will buy, just wish I knew. Again, here is my real problem with it. There is no way to connect them together like you can do in Christmas style where you connect to the other. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, but I'll find out since I have hidden compartments in boxes for extension cords and such. When I'm done I'll post a photo. I've posted pictures of these out of the box and wired them up as well.

Pros
  • Easy Shape: Copper wire is easy to bend and shape around plants, stairs, vanity mirrors, Christmas wreaths and just about anything else. Get creative and create your own DIY light show. Note: The garland cannot be cut or joined.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
