Working in a rigging shop and collecting all sorts of tools for every job. I bought this product to work with small items/thin rope. However, I have found this tool also useful for some of the more common connections where there is a very tight fit with a tube or swedish liner. For example, it can be difficult to insert a cap into a spliced core section (such as a double-braided peephole), but the thin wire slides easily past the spliced core and then pulls the cap through nicely. However, after just a few such connections, one of the wire needles broke; maybe it wasn't meant for my newfound purpose. Don't worry, the wire seems easily replaceable, which makes me wonder if it's really worth $50. I could probably do it myself. However a good product.
