I've had mine for 3 years. No problem. Works well. I will say that this meter is best for desktop work. If you are in the field, you need to buy another gauge. some sturdier innards. MINE sits on a test stand. It withstands multiple falls to the ground a few times a year. But it's not designed to fall down an 8-foot ladder, ride in 5-gallon buckets in the back of a van or pickup truck, or fall into a tub of water. My meter works with guitar amps and other applications a homeowner may need a meter for. If you use it to the limit, this is an excellent counter. to replace defective units. Good for you.
