no smooth closing - Latch
I installed them on the closet door because I expected them to provide a smooth adjustment of the door closing. It didn't reach my goal. It's a little better than installing nothing and a lot cheaper than putting all new hinges on the door. The design would be better if the extension that retracts into the barrel was an additional 1/4 to 3/8 inch. longer.
