A few days ago I purchased a set of 230 HSS Titanium Twist Drill Bits from Hurricane Tools to use in my new hobby of knife making. These drills were absolutely useless for hardened steel. Disgusted I sent them back and ordered these drills from Bosch, regretting going with an unbranded brand. (I used DeWalt beats and they were very decent). I received my Bosch 3/16 bits yesterday and as you can see in the picture I used 5 drill bits to drill 2 holes in the knife! I wanted to make 3 holes but by then all the drills were boring. I checked the drill bits by opening them up and saw that only 2 of the 5 had a clean edge and the other 3 had burrs/rollers on the edges. And only two without them really dug into the steel. But the durability was very bad. It's the shit that says "Made in China" and sadly has the Bosch name embossed on it. If you want to drill in metal, look elsewhere!
