Very stiff bristles work best with electric toothbrushes and accessories

The bristles are so stiff! I'm afraid of ruining the enamel on my teeth. I already threw away one of the heads and am trying another now, but it's hard too. Not as bad as the first. I've tried softening the stubble by pouring hot water on it, but it's still quite stiff. Very disappointed with this brand.
