Review on Gitzo GT1545TUS Lightweight Traveler Series 1 Carbon Fiber Tripod - Silver & Black: A Versatile Travel Companion by Donna Jones

Comments updated July 2021 I have had this tripod for 3 years and it is useless. I only use it for iPhone videos now. The legs always get lost and don't support the ball head with a Canon 5D Mark 4 and wide angle lens. Fixed multiple times but still very unstable and untrustworthy. I wish I had never bought this product. Comments October 2019 I have been using this tripod for about two months. The screws and washers attached to the cross constantly loosen and fall off during use. The legs just dangle and wiggle a lot. This tripod is very unstable. I have to use tape to attach the screws/washers. It took 3 weeks for Gitzo to reply to my emails and request a replacement. They sent a two sentence email asking them to ship the tripod to a third party and didn't even cover shipping or insurance. I have no idea when I'll get this tripod back. Found out that Gitzo only gives a 6 month guarantee on their product. Given the poor quality of the product, they should give it a lifetime guarantee. I have 4 other Gitzo tripods but this will be the last time I will buy their products.
