Review on 🎨 White Porcelain Palette Tray by Jack Richeson Butcher, 11 x 15 inches by Kristen Simpson

I really wanted this tray to please - and the idea is great - a convex tray so the watercolor paints blend slightly with the paint in the center and the water flows to the edges, blending between them. Large size so you can mix multiple colors. Great idea right? The tray came in a large Revain box with a large bubble wrap. Unfortunately the tray was so scratched that the metal was exposed in several places, with sharp edges to peel my skin when I took it out of the box. I understand the manufacturer/seller says there will be chips, but it was ridiculous and dangerous - I wasn't expecting to cut my fingers painting it. I sent the tray back and was going to buy another one hoping for better quality; However, the price has doubled, so I gave up the new one. I have purchased several of Jack Richeson's watercolor products including the Quiller Palette, the Porcelain Palette and the Brush Holder so I know they have quality watercolor products. There was no such tray - fail.
