Updated Review: After talking to Annie at Customer Service it appears I may have accidentally received HSS blades. Annie has gone to great lengths to solve this problem. Well the new blades arrived today, I am pleased to report that they are now CARBIDE as ordered! Mistakes happen and when a company admits and then does everything they can to fix a problem, that's worth more than 5 stars to me! So I'm updating my rating, the blades get 5 stars because while I can't speak to durability yet, the value for money is 5 stars. Customer service also deserves 5 stars. I would recommend them based on those facts alone! (Also matching the blades to my old ones confirms the fit and finish and they passed my magnet test!) Original Review: Received these today and they looked like regular steel blades. I tried a magnet and they were very magnetic. I was also able to magnetize the blade very easily. In just 10 strokes, the blade could pick up screws and nails. My original carbide blade has very little magnetic attraction and is not magnetized. So they returned. I think the $19 price should have been a warning to me.
