Non-microwave Good for Kitchen & Dining
I bought this appliance to heat water in the microwave but the packaging says it is not microwave safe. This almost completely defeats the purpose of this teapot for me. Hario recommends boiling water in another vessel and pouring it into an air kettle for pouring. The problem is that unless you preheat the air tank first, you lose a lot of heat when decanting the water. Why not just microwave it to avoid the hassle? I thought that was the crux of the matter in this case.
