I was a little hesitant about whether or not I would take the time to do this when my wife bought it for me, but I'm glad she did. It's easy to attach and works great. I put it up the night we expected snow and sleet. We had some snow that night and the next day and the wet snow left a crust on my car. I had to tap on the windshield to break the top layer of ice and remove the cover, then shake off the snow and ice and remove the cover. To my delight, my windshield looked as dry and clean as if I had the cover on. It is very easy to install. Simply place the fold-out page on top and slide the elastic loops around each side mirror. Then open the door slightly and latch the flap in each front door to secure the cover. I also closed the wipers. I believe the wind got to the passenger side with the wiper open when I removed the cover but didn't get too much underneath. Now I tuck that corner in so the wind doesn't pick it up. The case itself is not a cheap material. I compare it to a convertible top where it's rubber backed vinyl. It fits my 2016 Mazda CX5 perfectly. It might be a little tighter on a larger car or truck but I think it will still fit fairly well. It's also easy to remove. Just open the door and remove the valve, then the rubber band on the same side, then the same on the other side. Installation and removal is fairly quick - no more than a minute. After you remove it, you can shake off the snow, fold it up and store it in the nice storage bag that comes with it. This is a very nice, well-made windshield cover that's worth the few bucks more you might pay for a cheap one. Judging by the way they look, they probably won't even last a winter.
