When they say "light" they don't just mean "not heavy" but also "cheap". Aside from being too short to be practical for standalone use (to be fair, the maximum height has been disclosed), the biggest issue is that the leg extensions don't snap securely and the legs tend to slip. For the money - I don't think it's bad - I would like to pay a little more and get a well-known brand tripod. I don't think anyone is to blame but myself.
