I was hoping my little one could play with this as she loves to fold, hide and fold things. I opened the box and checked it before giving it to her for Christmas just to make sure nothing was broken. The penultimate doll in my set was an angel with baby Jesus. I will. this angel did NOT want to give up his Jesus. I literally had to take a scalpel and risk my fingers to surgically remove the baby Jesus from this doll. It was a holy cesarean. I finally opened it and surprisingly didn't break it, and after shaving off the inside where the two halves meet I was able to sort of force the doll to close in a way that it could be opened with some force. But my 3 year old will most likely never make it on his own and I could seriously injure myself if I had to cut two pieces apart with a very sharp razor blade. Although they are cute, I would not recommend them. By the way, shouldn't baby Jesus be in Mary's doll? I'm just saying.
